Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s Former Home
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston once again had the world gossiping when they met at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Some possibly flirty body language was going on — Pitt gently grabbed his ex-wife’s wrist as she walked away and, later, proudly watched Aniston accept the best actress award.
So will the two ever get back together? We don’t know, but if they do they could move right back into the house they poured so much time and money into. Their old home, which they owned from 2001 until they split in 2005, is on the market for a whopping $44.5 million. Located in Beverly Hills, California, this mansion would be the perfect place to conclude their not-so-storybook romance.
Come take a look at tons of photos inside this manse. The closet is ridiculous!
The Deets
Aniston and Pitt bought this property for $12.5 million in 2001 and poured millions into renovating it. When they listed it four years later, it had a price tag of $24.95 million. It has approximately 12,000 square feet of living space with four bedrooms in the main house.
And before we go inside, a quick look at what started a firestorm of Tweets…
The Touch
Could it be the touch that starts a whole new romance between America’s sweetheart and one of its biggest movie stars? Time will tell.
The Living Room
An all-marble, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and dark plank wood flooring are some key features of the living room.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the current owner is Jonathan Brooks, a hedge fund executive who snagged the pad from the couple shortly after Pitt betrayed America by falling for Angelina Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

Wall-to-ceiling windows light the place up and provide clear views of the stunning backyard (more on its features later).
The Kitchen
The kitchen has been updated with expensive renovations but still keeps a classic, country-style look. Check out the one-piece marble countertop, which includes a double sink — all marble!

The black-and-white tile matches the many marble finishes. There’s another marble fireplace in here as well, with the fireplace itself elevated to dining-level height.

The floors in the kitchen are heated — an addition added by Pitt and Aniston. May their feet be warmed if they cook together once again.
The Master Bedroom
Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom, which has a curved, dome-like ceiling.
The Master Bedroom, Continued
The house was custom-built in 1934 for the Academy-award winning actor Fredric March, who starred in “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” and “The Best Years of Our Lives.”

According to the listing, the house has “has been meticulously upgraded yet has kept all the architectural integrity of a bygone era.” Maybe the fireplace is original?

A closer look at the fireplace and mantle, which, in a perfect world, would have pictures of Pitt and Aniston above it.

What isn’t original is this custom-built drop-down television rack. But it sure is cool — and space-saving.
The Master Bathroom
The master bathroom is lavish, with a huge island with double vanities. Plus, a corded phone, which probably comes with the $44.5 million price tag if you ask nicely (or throw in $4).

Naturally, there’s a huge glassed-in shower with dual showerheads.

Next to the shower is a square soaking tub.

The Insane Master Closet
The closet isn’t just a closet — it’s a room with a revolving clothing rack that’s as big as a redwood tree trunk. You need a ladder just to reach the top of that shelf! Brad and Jen, you know you miss this closet.
The Insane Master Closet, Continued
If that massive rack isn’t enough for clothes, the walls are lined with wooden closets.

There’s enough space to store every gift bag and sponsored shirt from the countless award shows those two have attended.
Oh, Memories
Like the snazzy suits they wore at the 2002 Golden Globes. Ah, memories of simpler times.
The Dressing Room
The closet isn’t the only place to get dressed. A circular dressing room with skylight is an elegant space to suit up before a paparazzi ambush.
The Exercise Room
Near the master bedroom is a private exercise room.
The Private Office
Connected to the master bedroom is a private office, although it’s not the only one.
The Office Loft
Elsewhere on the second floor is a long office space with a high cathedral ceiling.

That “pie” decal is probably from the current owner.
The Theater Lounge
This room was custom-made by Pitt and Aniston, and it’s freakin’ amazing. It doubles as a theater and luxury lounge.

Behind the bar, a false wall drops away, revealing the projector. But we’re definitely not projecting when we say that Pitt and Aniston still have lingering feelings. He was the first one to show up and the last one to leave Aniston’s Christmas dinner!
The Theater Lounge, Continued
The lounge has been tastefully decorated, although it’s almost certainly not Pitt’s or Aniston’s furnishings. Yet.
The Sitting Room
Leaving the dimly-lit lounge, there’s a bright and open sitting room.

The paneled glass doors retract, fully opening one side of the room to the outside pool and patio.
The Wine Bar
There’s a wine bar in this room as well. Somewhere in the house, which sadly remains un-photographed, is a pub room with 200-year-old wood floors from a French chateau, according to the Journal.
The Tower
Outside is a unique brick tower with a wooden ceiling. It could be a great place for some new wedding vows.
The Patio
The French Normandy Revival house comes with an expansive stone patio, which has loads of old-world charm.
The Outdoor Fireplace
There are several fireplaces on the property, but the grandest one is the one found outside the sitting area.

This fireplace is a tower of stacked bricks, accented with a modern mantelpiece.
The Pool
The long, rectangular pool is completely private, thanks to walls of trees and shrubs.

This house has everything Pitt and Aniston could ever want!
The Tennis Court and Guest House
The new owner added this full-sized tennis court and guest house.
The Tennis Court and Guest House
The guest building is designed in the midcentury modern style, with walls of glass facing the court.

The Grounds
The 1.2-acre grounds feature a grassy walkway flanked by large shrubs.

There’s certainly enough room to throw a party in the backyard, and the grand stone staircase is a sight to behold.
The Neighborhood
The mansion is located in an elite section of Beverly Hills, although the ultra-expensive home is having some trouble finding a buyer. It originally went on sale in May of 2019 for $49 million and has shed $4.5 million from its original price tag after lingering on the market for over nine months.
But it’s not the most expensive home in the area — Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman used to live next door; their former home sold for $66 million in 2018, according to Mansion Global.
Remembering the Supercouple
Pitt and Aniston threw a million-dollar wedding in 2000 and were deeply in love. For Valentine’s Day in 2001, Pitt reportedly filled Aniston’s “Friends” trailer with 1,500 roses, using the petals to spell out “I love my wife,” according to People.
But by 2003, cracks in their relationship were showing. In an interview with W Magazine, Aniston gave a rather vague non-answer if she thought that Pitt was “the love of her life.”

Then “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” happened. The movie, starring Pitt and Jolie, was a massive success — partially fueled by a firestorm of rumors that Pitt and Jolie had the hots for each other.
“I think a few months in I realized, ‘God, I can’t wait to get to work.’ … Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair,” Jolie said in a 2006 interview with People. She insisted the two remained close friends until Pitt and Aniston divorced, but we have our doubts.

Later, Aniston said she thought Jolie’s interview was “inappropriate.”
“That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool,” she told Vogue in 2008.
Since then, Pitt and Aniston have warmed up to one another. Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party in 2018, although sources told E! in May 2019 that they only text or talk on occasion.
Remembering the Supercouple
But maybe that’s changing. Pitt was visibly beaming while he watched Aniston’s teary-eyed acceptance speech. Maybe he’s just proud of a good friend — or maybe he needs to make up for his past wrongs with a $44.5 million present.
