Who Are Your Favorite ‘Game of Thrones’ Stars Dating?
/granite-web-prod/fe/45/fe451e6714a740409793f6bfa43f3922.jpg)
Love has never been easy in Westeros, whether romantic or not. If it’s not simply unrequited, it will often get you killed. And if that doesn’t happen, you’ll probably just end up batty over your sister or aunt. Luckily for our favorite “Game of Thrones” (“GoT”) stars, this isn’t the case in real life.
Most fans know that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who respectively play Jon Snow and Ygritte the Wildling, met on the set of the show and are now happily married. But what about other characters like Cersei, Daenerys, Tyrion and Grey Worm? They must have their own love stories. We decided to find out.
** Warning: There are some plot spoilers ahead.
Kit Harington
Rose Leslie, left, and Kit Harington attend HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Jon Snow
Love Interest: Rose Leslie
It’s heartwarming that a show known for betrayal and bloodshed actually produced a real-life love story involving two characters. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who are both 32, met on the set and fell in love, and they married in 2018.
The man known as Aegon, er, Jon Snow says he was embarrassed about doing romantic scenes with the Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, because the two are close friends, but we’re pretty sure he was comfortable in the season three cave scene with Rose Leslie, who played Ygritte. It’s easily the sexiest scene in “GoT” history, and Leslie told Entertainment Weekly that Harington was the quintessential gentleman during filming.
The pair are fiercely private about their relationship and refuse to be photographed together with fans because they think it will turn them into puppets instead of people.
Sophie Turner
Joe Jonas, left, and Sophie Turner attend the final season premiere of "Game Of Thrones" in New York City.Character: Sansa Stark
Love Interest: Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner, who’s 23, is one of several Stark children who grew up during the run of the show, and became super-famous during the process. In 2019, she did the most adult thing by getting married — to none other than teenage heartthrob Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers fame.
The couple started dating in 2016 and were engaged a year later. In a surprise move, Turner and Jonas decided to get married — by an Elvis impersonator — in Las Vegas after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
In what can only be described as very age appropriate, the young lovers met through social media when Jonas DM’d Turner on Instagram after attempts by mutual friends to connect the two stalled. They have attempted to be low-key about their relationship, but Turner has said their celebrity status makes her feel like she sometimes lives in a fishbowl.
Maisie Williams
Reuben Selby, left, works for the Daisie app that Maisie Williams cofounded.Character: Arya Stark
Love Interest: Reuben Selby
Like co-star Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams grew up on the set of “GoT.” In fact, her character really grew up in season eight when she bedded the handsome blacksmith Gendry who fashioned many a dragon-glass weapon to defeat the Night King and his Army of the Dead. Certainly many fans had a hard time seeing little Arya make it official, but IRL she’s plenty old enough at 22.
If you want to know about the love life of 20-somethings, go to their social media pages. In this case, we know Williams dated a classmate named Ollie Jackson in 2018. But then he stopped appearing on her pages, so we knew it was over. Now there’s another dude in the mix, Reuben Selby, and he works for the app Daisie that Williams cofounded for young creatives to make career connections. She’s all over his Instagram page — at the beach, hiking, going out in Paris, etc. — which means they’re totally an item.
Isaac Hempstead Wright
Isaac Hempstead Wright arrives at the LA Premiere of "Game of Thrones" at The Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 12, 2017, in Los Angeles.Character: Bran Stark
Love interest: Unknown
Isaac Hempstead Wright plays one of the three true Stark children who survived long enough to see season eight, and he too grew up with the show. At 20 years old, however, he hasn’t had a ton of time to date. But he certainly does have a girlfriend — and somehow found the only person on Earth who has never seen a single episode of “GoT.”
But who is this mystery woman? It seems Hempstead Wright learned from his previous relationship, with Stella Rozenbroek, that perhaps it’s best to keep his private life private. Rozenbroek endured the wrath of fans who were upset with Hempstead Wright’s choice, and that meant the couple couldn’t even go out for a drink without hearing about it.
Unlike other people his age, Hempstead Wright doesn’t have an over-the-top social media presence, so he’s managed to keep his current love interest a secret — for now.
Emilia Clarke
Actress Emilia Clarke attends a special screening of "Solo: A Star Wars Story," hosted by The Cinema Society and Nissan at the SVA Theater on May 21, 2018, in New York.Character: Daenerys Targaryen
Love Interest: Single (for Now)
The only thing longer than Emilia Clarke’s official title on “GoT” is the list of her rumored romances. Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons has been linked to James Franco, Jason Momoa, Seth MacFarlane, Charlie McDowell, Jared Leto and even Kit Harington. The only two who she actually dated were McDowell and MacFarlane.
It seems she was with McDowell until at least January 2019, when he stopped appearing on her social media accounts. But the 32-year-old also admitted that she maintains a secret and private second Instagram account where she can be her true self, so perhaps that’s where she stashes her romantic life.
Peter Dinklage
Peter Dinklage, winner of the award for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for "Game of Thrones," left, and Erica Schmidt attend the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 17, 2018, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.Character: Tyrion Lannister
Love Interest: Erica Schmidt
Peter Dinklage was mildly famous before “GoT,” one of those actors who would get stopped by strangers asking, “Didn’t I see you in that film?” Now, however, things are different — so much so that 49-year-old Dinklage will not publicly reveal the names of his children. All we know is that he has a daughter — and her name is not Zelig — and another kid.
In 2005, Dinklage married Theater Director Erica Schmidt. They have also worked together, including on a 2015 Off-Broadway production. He told the Guardian she’s “brilliant” and, unlike many of their peers, is most enamored with theater and has no aspirations for film or television. “Theater is sacred to her. It’s not entertainment; it’s art,” Dinklage said. “She’s very inspiring. She’s definitely the artist of the family.”
Lena Headey
Lena Headey, right, married longtime friend, Dan Cadan, in 2018.Character: Cersei Lannister
Love Interest: Dan Cadan
Everyone’s favorite evil and incestuous queen was linked to several men throughout the run of “GoT,” but Lena Headey, 45, married her longtime boyfriend — and childhood friend — Dan Cadan in 2018. They have a daughter named Teddy who was born in 2015, and Headey kept secret who the father was for almost two years after the birth.
It was a second marriage for both. Before Cadan, Headey was hitched to musician Peter Loughran for four years, and they had a son, Wylie, together in 2010. During that time, Headey shared that it was difficult for her to return to acting after Wylie’s birth because she experienced severe postpartum depression.
But Headey’s love story is also riddled with drama. In fact, there was a time when “GoT” actually produced two courtships, even though it has yet to be confirmed whether the relationship between Headey and Jerome Flynn (Bronn) started on the show or long before filming. What we do know is that, by 2014, they really disliked each other. It was apparently so bad that they couldn’t be in the same room together during filming. Now it makes sense why Cersei’s hatred for Bronn felt so real.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, right, and wife Nukaaka attend the "Gods of Egypt" premiere at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Feb. 24, 2016, in New York.Character: Jaime Lannister
Love Interest: Sascha Nukâka Motzfeldt
Since 1997, hunky Dane Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been married to Actress and Singer Nukâka, a former Miss Greenland. They live in suburban Copenhagen, Denmark, with their two daughters, Filippa and Safina, and two dogs. The 48-year-old Coster-Waldau said his wife doesn’t watch “GoT” because it’s “ridiculous to see [your significant other] pretending to be someone else.”
That’s doubly the case when your character is madly in love with his own sister, whom he’s had several children by. On a more intimate note, Coster-Waldau once discussed with Cosmopolitan the secret to his long marriage: “You have to like each other — that's a good start. And of course, you have to stay physical together. But you also have to be able to laugh. If you can't have fun, then there's no point.”
Alfie Allen
Alfie Allen, right, has a daughter with Allie Teilz.Character: Theon Greyjoy
Love Interest: Allie Teilz
Alfie Allen originally auditioned for the role of Jon Snow, but it’s hard to imagine him as anyone else except Theon Greyjoy. And although the arrogant betrayer has one of the sadder character arcs in “GoT,” he does end up mostly redeeming himself by the end.
Off screen, Allen is a new father. He and Allie Teilz — whose relationship was, um, unrobed in 2017 when the couple was spotted canoodling topless on a Spanish beach — welcomed daughter Arrow into the world in October 2018. It’s the first child for the 32-year-old Brit and 24-year-old American DJ.
Allen took to Instagram to share a photo of Arrow clutching his finger, writing, “With full hearts and overwhelming joy, @allieteilz and I introduce you to the newest member of our family. She is perfect.”
Jacob Anderson
Jacob Anderson, left, has been dating Aisling Loftus since 2011.Character: Grey Worm
Love Interest: Aisling Loftus
Jacob Anderson plays one of the noblest characters in “GoT” as Grey Worm, the leader of the fierce warriors known as the Unsullied (so named because they were all castrated in order to be focused fighters). And it appears he’s also one of the good guys in real life.
The 28-year-old Anderson, who also has a music career under the name Raleigh Ritchie, spoke with the Guardian about Aisling Loftus, whom he’s been with since 2011, saying, “I’ll never forget first setting eyes on my girlfriend, the actress Aisling Loftus, because it all seemed to happen in slow motion. We’ve been together five years. She’s intelligent, sensitive and empathetic, and I’ve never met anybody who cares about people as much as she does. We never run out of things to talk about, and our relationship has always felt very natural.”
Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel, right, has been dating Alex Lanipekun since 2017 (we think).Character: Missandei
Love Interest: Alex Lanipekun
Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays the main advisor to Daenerys Targaryen, likes to keep her private life private. While she’s active on social media, she shares absolutely nothing about a significant other.
Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2017, the 30-year-old wouldn’t say one way or the other whether she was seeing someone. She did admit that it’s difficult to balance a love and professional life, and to find someone who’s not “intimidated by your achievements. It’s tough to find people who are super-secure and encourage you to fly.”
Apparently that eventually happened, as Emmanuel was spotted numerous times in 2018 with fellow thespian Alex Lanipekun looking like more than friends.
Iain Glen
Iain Glen and Charlotte Emmerson attend the opening night of "Song of the Earth and La Sylphide" at the London Coliseum in January 2018.Character: Jorah Mormont
Love Interest: Charlotte Emmerson
Iain Glen’s character Jorah Mormont has a sort of brutish charm on “GoT.” He’s a guy who’s seen more than he cares to remember, and ultimately falls in love with a woman he cannot have (Daenerys Targaryen).
But this image of the grisled wanderer doesn’t seem to carry on after the cameras stop rolling. Glen is very much a regular old dad and husband in real life, even if he has to fend off the occasional female fan looking for more than an autograph. The 57-year-old married Charlotte Emmerson, also an actor, in 2007. They have two daughters together, Mary and Juliet. Glen also has a son named Finlay with ex-wife Susannah Harker, whom he married in 1993. They divorced in 2004.
Glen shared a personal moment with the “GoT” blog about filming his final scenes in the show. Apparently, Emmerson suffered a brain hemorrhage while Glen was fighting off wights, and he didn’t find out about it until the next day. The news was shocking, to say the least, but she made a full recovery.
John Bradley
John Bradley, right, attends the "Game of Thrones" premiere with Rebecca April May.Character: Samwell Tarly
Love Interest: Rebecca April May
The man who plays the affable thinker Samwell Tarly, who is easily the most endearing character on “GoT,” has a girlfriend whose name sounds like it came straight from the pages of George R.R. Martin’s books. With a name like Rebecca April May, she could be an illegitimate daughter born in spring. But since the story seems to only have two seasons and no months, we digress.
Bradley and Entertainment Journalist April May have been together at least since 2017, when their courtship became Instagram official. The 30-year-old said the two met after she interviewed him for a story on “GoT.” And after the season eight “GoT” premiere, April May shared a red-carpet photo of the duo on Instagram, writing that she was “Even more proud and in love than I can put into words.”
Kristofer Hivju
Actor Kristofer Hivju, right, and wife Gry Molvaer Hivju attend HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Tormund Giantsbane
Love Interest: Gry Molvær Hivju
If Samwell Tarly is the most endearing character on “GoT,” then Tormund Giantsbane is the one you most want to sit around the campfire with getting drunk and sharing stories that may or may not be true. The fiery redhead is also the one you want to go to battle with.
In reality, however, Kristofer Hivju is an old-school family man at 40 years old. He’s been married to Film Director Gry Molvær Hivju, also a Norwegian redhead, since 2015, although they dated for years before that, and the handsome couple have two daughters who were often seen on the set of “GoT” hanging out with their dad.
Gwendoline Christie
Giles Deacon, left, and Gwendoline Christie pose for photographers upon arrival at the British Fashion Awards 2015 in London, on Nov. 23, 2015.Character: Brienne of Tarth
Love Interest: Giles Deacon
Brienne is quite the badass warrior on “GoT” who would never back down from a fight, but Gwendoline Christie is a bit more refined off camera. The 40-year-old actress is also a model and has been dating British Fashion Designer Giles Deacon since 2013. He’s most famous for designing the wedding dress of Pippa Middleton.
Christie told The Telegraph that she’s a big fan of her beau’s fashion sense and that Deacon “has two of my favorite attributes in artists: wild imagination and technical rigor. [His designs] can be practical, otherworldly, sculptural and mind-bending, but you always feel celebrated as a woman when you wear them.”
The couple have even collaborated on outfits that Christie has worn for various red-carpet events.
Jason Momoa
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa seen at the World Premiere of Warner Bros. "Live by Night" at TCL Chinese Theater on Jan. 9, 2017, in Los Angeles.Character: Khal Drogo
Love Interest: Lisa Bonet
Everyone’s favorite shirtless warrior on “GoT” might not have had a long run on the show — he was a fixture in season one before his death — but he was memorable as the leader of the Dothraki fighters and husband of Daenerys Targaryen. In real life, Jason Momoa is still a heartthrob even if he’s unavailable.
Momoa has been with fellow thespian Lisa Bonet since 2005, and they wed in 2017. They have two children together, born in 2007 and 2008. Momoa has even revealed that he coveted Bonet long before that, claiming he’s been “stalking” her since he was 8 years old and saw her on TV (Bonet is 12 years older than Momoa). Bonet was famously with Lenny Kravitz before Momoa, and Kravitz and Momoa are something of BFFs. Just check out this cute pic of them with matching rings that Momoa bought.
Carice van Houten
/granite-web-prod/5c/49/5c49cebe9673415f87685022a7bec1e7.png)
Character: Melisandre
Love Interest: Guy Pearce
The Dutch beauty with those piercing blue eyes whose “GoT” character brings Jon Snow back to life is a mysterious figure in Westeros. While she did predict that the Long Night wouldn’t be so long after all, her Lord of Light prophecies didn’t pan out in the end, and she simply evaporated into thin air.
Van Houten is in a relationship with Australian actor Guy Pearce. They met in 2016 on the set of “Brimstone” and also had son Monte together later that year. Pearce, who moonlights as a singer, paid tribute to his young family in 2018 when his album “The Nomad” was released, saying van Houten and Monte “both changed my life forever and for the better.”
Natalie Dormer
/granite-web-prod/ae/f0/aef0f2af601a4b00bfe36ffd652af1c9.jpg)
Character: Margaery Tyrell
Love Interest: Single
A member of House Tyrell, the largest of the noble Westeros houses, Margaery Tyrell is often cited as an example of the strong female figures in “GoT.” Her character is cunning and sly, making allegiances with enemies when it suits her quest. Ultimately, she is killed in season six on Cersei Lannister’s orders in an act that leads House Tyrell to side with Daenerys Targaryen.
Until late 2018, Dormer was engaged to film director Anthony Byrne for years. The pair had been together 11 years after meeting on the set of “The Tudors” and even collaborated professionally — something they both admitted was difficult and, according to rumors, ultimately led to the relationship’s demise.
Rory McCann
Rory McCann attends HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Sandor Clegane
Love Interest: Single
Sandor Clegane, or the Hound, was one of the longest-serving characters on “GoT” before falling to his death in a pit of fire in season eight, taking with him the older brother who forever scarred Sandor — literally and figuratively — by burning his face as a child.
McCann is something of an enigma off-screen. The Scotsman is known for living a transient lifestyle in his boat and for his other creative endeavors in painting and music. But that lifestyle, he says, prevents him from settling down with someone. His sister is a costume designer who also worked on “GoT.”
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson
/granite-web-prod/3e/ff/3effa31484d74714bace8716e3b50bef.jpg)
Character: Ser Gregor Clegane
Love Interest: Kelsey Henson
If Rory McCann leads a relatively quiet life then what about his on-screen brother, Ser Gregor, aka the Mountain? The two die together in the penultimate episode of the series, but that’s about where the similarities stop in real life.
Björnsson is wildly famous in his native Iceland. He was crowned World’s Strongest Man in 2018 and, despite his size, was a talented basketball player as a teenager. As for his love life, it appears he’s quite taken — with a Canadian woman and a Pomeranian. The Canadian is Kelsey Henson, whom Björnsson met in 2017 during a strongman competition in Alberta and married in late 2018. They are well known for their size difference and Instagram presence.
Adorably, Björnsson also has a Pomeranian named Asterix that has his own Instagram page.
Conleth Hill
Conleth Hill arrives at the LA Premiere of "Game of Thrones" at The Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 12, 2017, in Los Angeles.Character: Varys
Love Interest: Unknown
The Master of Whisperers is a pretty awesome title, and the famously bald Varys wore it with pride and handled it with acumen — until a vengeful Daenerys took care of him near the end of the series. And in case you were wondering, Hill actually does have hair — so much so that you might not recognize him outside of “GoT” when it’s fully grown.
As far as a love life goes, Hill keeps his private life very private. The Ireland native has never confirmed or denied that he’s in a relationship, which led to rumors about his sexuality. Either way, it’s his business and we’ll all have to seek other gossip targets.
Aidan Gillen
Aidan Gillen, right, and Camille O'Sullivan attend HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish
Love Interest: Camille O’Sullivan
“GoT” was filled with detestable characters, but perhaps the most slyly awful was Littlefinger. Baelish’s scheming, two-faced ways finally got the better of him in season seven when the Stark sisters conspired against him, and Arya ultimately slit his throat in one of the more memorable “GoT” deaths.
Off-screen, Gillen was married to Olivia O'Flanagan from 2001 to 2014. They have a son and daughter, both adults, together. After their separation, Gillen became involved with singer Camille O'Sullivan. The two have even performed together. But to be clear — as Gillen certainly wants us to be — they are “partners” and not “engaged.”
Gemma Whelan
/granite-web-prod/ca/d4/cad4f667c39a435aa5de9b49fc77bb49.jpg)
Character: Yara Greyjoy
Love Interest: Gerry Howell
Yara Greyjoy is not someone you want to cross paths with in a dark alley of King’s Landing, as the Queen of the Iron Islands is tough as nails. We’d rather hang with her real-life persona, which appears to be that of a hilarious and proud mother.
Whelan and husband Gerry Howell have a daughter together who was born during filming of season eight. If you ever wondered how women are able to manage the demands of new motherhood with their careers, this photo from the “GoT” set says it all. And while Whelan loves to share pics of her family, we respect the fact that she never puts her child on full display for the internet masses. Most photos only partially show her daughter.
Hannah Murray
Actress Hannah Murray arrives at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 18, 2016, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.Character: Gilly
Love Interest: Unknown
Gilly first appears in season two and manages to survive all the bloodshed and wars. And although she’s a relatively small character, she has one of the defining moments in the show when she is the first to discover that Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark had a legitimate marriage and legitimate heir to the Iron Throne (Jon Snow).
Outside of the show, Murray’s private life is certainly private. Her relationship status is unclear, and there were unsubstantiated (and somewhat awful) rumors that she might’ve been pregnant during the filming of season eight because she seemed to have a “rounder” face in the episodes. She used to date her co-star on “Bridgend,” Josh O’Connor, but that was a while ago. And despite the desires of many fans, she is not with the aforementioned John Bradley, who plays her “GoT” love interest Samwell Tarly.
Sean Bean
Sean Bean, left, and Ashley Moore arrive at the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 10, 2016, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.Character: Ned Stark
Love Interest: Ashley Moore
Bean has the special distinction — it’s even a popular meme — of having died off early in not one but two of the most famous fantasy book series to be made into a TV show (“GoT”) or a movie (“Lord of the Rings”). Nevertheless, his character Ned Stark lived on long after season one in the hearts of all fans.
Since 1981, Bean has been married five times and divorced four times. So far, the fifth one seems to be the charm. Sadly, his last divorce was reportedly the result of domestic violence, although his current wife, Ashley Moore, agreed to marry him in 2017. Bean also has three children from previous marriages and four grandkids, but even at 59 years old, he’s ready for another little one with Moore.
Richard Madden
/granite-web-prod/fa/bf/fabf81d407ba4be7a9a9696eb4e71bd1.jpg)
Character: Robb Stark
Love Interest: Single
Everything looked so great for Robb Stark. Sure, his father was beheaded, but after that, he became King in the North and proved to be a great military tactician. Then came the vicious Red Wedding. That’s when Robb, who betrayed an oath to marry someone else, is killed along with his wife and unborn child, mother and so many others.
Madden — who recently admitted that spending five years filming three seasons of “GoT” was plenty for him — has dated plenty of women through the years and was most recently linked to actress Ellie Bamber before she dumped him. Madden’s role in “Rocketman” and close friendship with actor Brandon Flynn, who’s openly gay, have led to rumors about his sexuality. However, proving that he’s quite comfortable in his own skin, Madden simply said they were untrue and his private life is his alone.
Jack Gleeson
Actor Jack Gleeson attends HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Joffrey Baratheon
Love Interest: Unknown
There are a handful of truly awful characters on “GoT,” and Joffrey Baratheon certainly tops the list. For starters, he is the offspring of fraternal twins, meaning he could have some serious mental health issues. That certainly seemed to be the case during his murderous reign as boy king. Thankfully, Olenna Tyrell put an end to Joffrey with a glass of poisoned wine — which led to the famous line before her own death, “Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me.”
Since his character’s death, Gleeson has largely pulled out of the spotlight. He has said that fame was more overwhelming than he anticipated, and he didn’t enjoy the life of a TV star. In fact, it seems he doesn’t even like the show that much. That means his personal life has remained a mystery.
Joe Dempsie
Joe Dempsie attends HBO's "Game of Thrones" final season premiere at Radio City Music Hall on April 3, 2019, in New York.Character: Gendry Baratheon
Love Interest: Unknown
Gendry Baratheon, who proved to be a terrific blacksmith, is perhaps most famous for one of the least raunchy sex scenes in “GoT” history, but perhaps its most important one — the one in which young Arya officially “grows up” before the war with the White Walkers and the Night King.
Dempsie’s longest known relationship was with actress Katie McGrath. They dated for three years but broke up all the way back in 2010 before “GoT” even premiered. And because he portrayed a gay man in a Rob Green music video, rumors of course swirled. Dempsie did have at least one very dedicated female fan who unsuccessfully courted him hard.
Michelle Fairley
/granite-web-prod/79/6c/796c1bc1582347b28bd427b19c256a21.jpg)
Character: Catelyn Stark
Love Interest: Unknown
The matriarch of the Stark family had an unfortunate exit from the show as a victim of the Red Wedding — a quite dramatic throat slitting — but she was, for a long time, one of the most powerful women in Westeros. Following her husband’s beheading, she tried to steer the ship and keep the Lannisters out of power, but things just didn’t work out.
Like many actors in “GoT,” Fairley is very private about her personal life. There’s really nothing out there about a love interest aside from the fact that she ended a seven-year relationship with a man in 2012 because she wanted a change.
Iwan Rheon
Iwan Rheon, left, and Zoe Grisedale arrive at the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall on Jan. 30, 2016, in Los Angeles.Character: Ramsay Bolton
Love Interest: Zoë Grisedale
There is no more cruel and torturous character in Westeros than the bastard Ramsay Bolton. He killed Rickon Stark and raped Sansa Stark. He castrated Theon Greyjoy and renamed him Reek. Set his hounds on a young girl. Killed his own father, then fed his stepmother and half-brother to his hounds. So, it was only fitting that he was eventually killed by those same hounds.
Luckily in real life, Rheon seems like a well-adjusted guy who’s just a really good actor and also a musician. He and partner Zoë Grisedale, a producer and director, have a child together who was born in August 2018. As has become a theme with the “GoT” cast, little is known about the baby.
