Most Popular Giant Squishmallows
We love Squishmallows, if you haven't noticed. Their soft, plushness is so nice to hold, inspiring thousands of children and grown adults alike to begin Squishmallow collections. Squishmallows range in size from tiny Squishes you can hang on your keyring to ones that are larger than the average toddler. Yes, there are 24-inch giant Squishmallows, and we decided to put together a list of the absolute best ones out there.
Sadly, all Squishmallows are released for a limited time, so you'll likely have to comb eBay to find most of these, and they won't be cheap. But if you're lucky, you might find a giant Squishmallow at a local retailer like Walmart or Costco. Fingers crossed!
Archie
Archie the Axolotl hit the Squishmallow scene in 2019. Archie is a pink axolotl who's very shy when you first meet him. He loves playing soccer, however, and will gladly join you on the field once he gets to know you.
That's if you can find him, of course. He comes in several sizes, but the giant version is no longer sold in stores.
Benny
Benny is a yeti, or bigfoot, if you will. Despite his rough and tumble exterior, he's quite the intellectual. He's the brightest bigfoot in the forest, and he dabbles in photography in his spare time.
This guy came out just in time to give everyone some much-needed snuggles in 2020. Kelly Toys also released a Santa Benny, a Graduation Benny and several other seasonal variations. You'll just have to wait and see which giant Benny Squishmallow comes out next.
Brina
Meet Brina the bigfoot. She's much more extroverted than Benny, going on new adventures by the day. Her favorite time of year is winter, which makes a lot of sense for a creature covered in pink fluff.
She's an avid snowboarder, competing every year. It's easier to find Brina in the mini Squishmallow sizes, but the 24-inch size is much more fun to snuggle.
Caeli
Kelly Toys came up with a few different designs for Squishmallow eyes, including an entire squad that appears to be peacefully napping.
Caeli the cat is a part of the designated Sleepy Eye Squad from 2021. This dreamy, tie-dye queen is a diva through and through, enjoying manicures in between cat naps. She also loves to knit, despite the long nails. She's one of the harder giant Squishmallows to find. Even on eBay, it's rare to find a 24-inch Caeli up for grabs.
Connor
Connor the cow is a classic, and if we had to pick just one giant Squishmallow, it might be him. He dates all the way back to 2017, making him one of the very first Squishmallows to hit the market.
He spends every chance he gets in sunny California, where he loves to ride bikes for miles. We hope he doesn't mind hanging out on the couch because he seems way more athletic than we are.
Ivy
True to her nature-inspired name, Ivy has a major green thumb. This festive Squish loves to garden, and she prefers to live in a home with plenty of live plants to tend. She's more pillow-like in shape, with a long, rounded body that's extra huggable. She also has two shimmery antlers that match her hooves and the sweetest little tail ever.
She's also pretty tough to find, but if you try around the holidays, you might get lucky.
James
James the fox is one of the most popular Squishmallows ever. He's orange but not so bright that it clashes with home decor — which can be a problem if your Squishmallow is bigger than your cat. James is very studious, but he also makes time for extracurriculars. He's captain of the Squishmallow baseball team and has his cute little eyes set on the major leagues.
His superpower? He's light on his feet and loves to dance the foxtrot. His birthday is on March 28, so don't forget to celebrate if you happen to add him to your collection.
Kelina
Kelina is every bit as sweet as a real koala. She loves nothing more than to cuddle at home with her best buddies, and a girl's day out is her idea of relaxation. She also likes to send handwritten cards to her besties.
She was released in 2021, so the odds of finding her up for sale are higher than older Squishmallow limited releases. Have her send us a card if she's in the mood!
Leonard
Leonard the lion came out in 2019, but so many versions of this Squish have come out since that. He comes in almost every size, and a new version of him has been released for nearly every holiday.
Interestingly enough, Leonard is a vegetarian. How a lion gets on the plant-based diet bandwagon, we have no idea, but Leonard made it happen. He also likes coding. Anyone living in Portland, Oregon, should definitely adopt a giant Leonard Squishmallow.
Lola
Can you guess what Lola's favorite color is? It's pink, just like her sparkly horn. The rest of her is a swirly blend of purple, lilac and fuchsia, plus a hint of baby blue.
She's as dreamy as a sunset, which is fitting because her head's in the clouds most of the time. She dreams of exploring the world and becoming a famous actress. Good luck, Lola, and good luck to anyone trying to find this rare 2018 Squish!
Miles
You'd think a dragon would be tough, but Miles is more of a homebody. He's a tech nerd who adores building robots with his friends and plans on going to engineering school one day. We believe in him.
Considering he can fly, the sky's the limit for this ambitious Squish. He's available in a few different styles, but all of them are crazy expensive. Just check out what they're listed for!
Nya
We're jealous of our neighbors across the pond because Nya the leopard Squishmallow was exclusively released at select Costcos in the U.K. in 2021. She's more of a peachy pink than a typical golden leopard color, with a matching rose-gold nose.
Her winking eye gives her more sass than most Squishmallows, probably because she's so hard to find. Why do the best giant Squishmallows play hard to get?
Omar
Omar the bear is the quintessential Squishmallow. Big, soft, snuggly — what more can a Squish addict ask for? He looks a lot like Baron and Greta, two other bear Squishmallows, but he has a personality all his own.
Omar loves to collect crystals and jewelry, as he's working on becoming a jeweler. In the meantime, he brings his collection of crystals for luck when he hits the track for another race. He doesn't look the most aerodynamic, but if he can do it, maybe we can manage that Thanksgiving fun run we've been avoiding for years.
Many smaller editions of Omar are more readily available, including one in which he holds a cozy latte with a heart on it in celebration of Valentine's Day.
Tally
If Tally looks familiar, that's because she hails from the Classic Squad of 2018. She's been around the block, and it shows. She's been released with different outfits for several holidays, but she's always a huge hit around Halloween.
As it turns out, there's nothing spooky about her career path of choice. She's a health and fitness trainer, lighting up spin class with her bubbly meows of encouragement.
Zobey
Zobey is one of the best giant Squishmallows because he has not one hand to hold, but eight. Don't be deceived, though. This 2020 Squishmallow has a quick wit and won't hesitate to throw sarcasm your way. When it comes down to it, though, he'll always have your back. If you can find him, that is.
It might be easier to find the smaller Fancy Zobey with a mustache, monocle and top hat, released exclusively on Amazon.
